The closer we get to ourselves, the more layers appear. The face we show, the face we hide, and an open wound between them.— layers of the self, 2026

Faces that memory left unfinished,
memories the light brings back.
Unfinished faces, fading memories. Portraits that gather on the canvas layer by layer and are never quite finished. Get a little lost; look a little closer.

Each was made once and will go to one home. Its size, texture and story live on its own page.
The painting floats inside the frame with a thin shadow gap, and the edges of the canvas stay visible. +5,000 ₺, or +2,500 ₺ for 25×35 cm works. Every painting is signed on the back and comes with a certificate of authenticity and a free set of 6 postcards.

The more we remember something, the more of it we lose. A single gaze is what remains.

in my studio, among my paintings Whenever I try to remember a face, some part of it is always missing. That missing part is what I paint.
Words feed me more than anything. The inner voices in Virginia Woolf's The Waves, feelings flowing through one another, time that never quite runs straight… The stories the mind whispers to itself, the feelings we bury or that surface all at once, the small fractures inside us: every painting is born from one of these.
Faces are never whole for me. They scatter a little, fade a little, drift one step away from reality. On the canvas they are born, broken down and born again; layer by layer, at their own pace.
Even without buying a painting, you can come along on this journey. Every bit of support turns into a new canvas, a tube of paint, quiet hours in the studio. As a thank you, I'll send you a postcard.
